Why do we suggets tours to be mostly in the fall and winter months?

The weather is the most comfortable for outdoor activities. It is a very beautiful time of the year and the biting insects are gone or minimal.

Since the starting point for tours is in White Springs, where would we be staying the night before the tour starts?

Depending on the selected tour, you will either be staying in a reserved room at a lodge or at the camp site. Lodging and dinner is included for the night before the tour starts.

If we are flying into one of the local airports will someone pick us up and take us to White springs?

Under most circumstances you can be picked up. For example, if you are coming in a large group of seven or more, you will be picked up. People flying into Jacksonville will usually have first priority. This service is offered as a convenience and may not be available, so please call to find out its availability.

What age of children do you accept on your tours?

Children twelve years of age or older are accepted on most of our tours. However, it also depends on the maturity of your child. You're the parents; you're the judge.

Are there any tours that are closed to children?

Tours will only be closed to children if a number of participants request that it be closed to children.

Do you take care of all hotels, motel and lodge reservations regarding your scheduled tours?

We only make reservations for the days of the tour once you reach White Springs. We do not make reservations from your taking off point to a local airport .

How soon must we let you know about canceling a tour to get our deposit back?

Deposits are refundable if requested within 30 days before tour departure or immediately within 2 days after reservations have been confirmed. Cancellation refund amounts closer to the actual tour date are subject to deductions based on commitments we have to make to others in scheduling the tour.

Are there any weather conditions that will stop or prolong a tour?

All tours take place regardless of normal weather conditions. The trips have the flexibility of being shifted one or two days either way to avoid severe weather.

What type of food or snacks do you provide?

We provide all meals on the scheduled tours and these meals consist of foods typical of this area. Let us know if you are a vegetarian. Some snacks are provided and they will consist of fruits, nuts and candy bars.

Are pets allowed on your scheduled tours?

No pets are allowed on any of our tours.

What are your safety measures?

We provide life vest and other safety equipment as required by law. At the beginning of each tour we discuss safety issues in detail.

What medical facilities are available if someone had a medical emergency?

Local hospitals in the surrounding cities are available to handle medical emergencies.
